Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1
Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport
On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport you are received by your driver-guide outside the airport and transferred to your accommodation in Arusha, with the evening at leisure to rest ahead of your safari.
Day 2
Transfer to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast you connect with your scheduled flight into the Northern Serengeti. Met by your private guide, you set out on your first game drive en route to camp, in a region famed for exceptional wildlife viewing and, during the migration months, vast herds of wildebeest and zebra gathered along the Mara River. You arrive in time to settle in over lunch or afternoon tea before an afternoon game drive.
Day 3
Experience Serengeti National Park
A full day exploring the northern reaches of the Serengeti, known for its dramatic river crossings and year-round predator activity. Morning and afternoon game drives offer a remarkable variety of wildlife, from large prides of lion to elusive leopard and vast herds of plains game, with seasonal Mara River crossings as wildebeest and zebra brave the currents and lurking crocodiles.
Day 4
Serengeti River Crossings & Plains
Another day in the northern Serengeti, returning to camp to relax in the peaceful surroundings between activities, then heading out again as the light softens and the landscape takes on a golden glow, with the chance of further predator and migration sightings.
Day 5
Transfer to Zanzibar Island
After breakfast you enjoy a final game drive on the way to the airstrip for your flight to Zanzibar. Met on arrival and transferred to your beach accommodation, you enjoy a short boat transfer to an exclusive private island surrounded by clear turquoise waters and vibrant coral reefs, settling into the slower pace of island life with the rest of the day at leisure.
Day 6
Leisure in Zanzibar
Days of soft white sand and warm Indian Ocean water, where activities may include snorkelling, diving, sailing or guided excursions into the island's rich cultural heritage, or simply relaxing by the pool or on the beach to the gentle rhythm of coastal life.
Day 7
Island Days in Zanzibar
A final unhurried day on the island, whether seeking adventure on the reef or pure relaxation on the sand, these closing days the ideal complement to your time on safari.
Day 8
Depart to Zanzibar Airport
After breakfast you transfer to Zanzibar International Airport for your onward journey, departing with memories of the Serengeti and the sea.
