13 Days Secrets of East Africa Safari

The 13 Days Secrets of East Africa Safari begins in Nairobi's historic Karen neighbourhood, flies into the Masai Mara for big-cat action along the Talek River, then crosses into Tanzania for the spectacle of the Great Migration in the Northern Serengeti. Three nights in the Eastern Serengeti at Africa's first all-female-staffed camp, Dunia, round out the safari's wild core before a final descent into the Ngorongoro Crater.

Between the headline destinations, the days fill with morning game drives through the Moru Kopjes, optional hot air balloon flights over the Serengeti plains, Maasai cultural visits at the Ngorongoro rim, and evenings by the fireplace in a highland camp. An optional Zanzibar beach extension waits at the end.

For a more exclusive, private-chef version of this route, see the 13 Days Exclusive East Africa Safari. Shorter on time? The 10 Days Kenya and Tanzania Premium Holiday covers the Mara and Serengeti in ten days.
