Day-by-Day Itinerary

On arrival at Entebbe International Airport you are met by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Take the remainder of the day to relax and unwind after your journey while enjoying the peaceful lakeside atmosphere of Uganda's gateway city.

After breakfast you depart Entebbe for the scenic drive to Kibale National Park in western Uganda, travelling through picturesque countryside, vibrant communities, rolling hills and expansive tea plantations. A picnic lunch en route precedes your arrival at the lodge near the forest, with the rest of the day at leisure in preparation for tomorrow's adventure.

After breakfast and a briefing at the park headquarters, venture into the rainforest with experienced guides in search of a habituated chimpanzee community, observing their social interactions, feeding and playful behaviour at close quarters. In the afternoon a guided visit to the Bigodi Community and Wetland Sanctuary offers an insight into local culture and conservation, in an area also renowned for its rich birdlife.

After breakfast you transfer to the nearby airstrip for your scheduled domestic flight back to Entebbe, with spectacular aerial views of Uganda's forests, lakes and rolling landscapes, arriving in time to connect with your onward flight or further travel.
