5 Days Kibale and Semuliki Primate Vacation

The 5 Days Kibale and Semuliki Primate Vacation gives you far more than a chimpanzee trek: hot springs, a prehistoric cave, and a wetland sanctuary full of rare birds make this a complete primate adventure. The journey begins with the geological drama of Semuliki National Park, where the bubbling Sempaya hot springs and the ancient Amabere Caves introduce Uganda's cultural and geological story before a single primate is sighted.

Day three brings Bigodi Swamp, a community-run sanctuary where butterflies spiral above wetland trails and over 200 bird species fill the canopy. The ultimate chimpanzee trekking experience arrives on day four, led by expert rangers into Kibale's dense rainforest to locate one of the park's 1,450 wild chimpanzees. Panoramic drives past the Rwenzori foothills frame every transfer.

For a shorter chimp-focused trip, the 3 Days Chimpanzee Trekking Holiday covers the essentials in three days. The 7 Days Primates and Wildlife Safari adds gorillas and Queen Elizabeth National Park for the full Uganda primate experience.
