Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Entebbe and a Lake Victoria Sunset

On arrival at Entebbe International Airport you are met by our representative, assisted with formalities and transferred to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you begin your adventure with an exclusive private sunset cruise on the tranquil waters of Lake Victoria, the perfect introduction to the Pearl of Africa.
Day 2

Fly to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After breakfast you transfer to the airport for a scheduled flight to the southwest, with breathtaking aerial views of Uganda's hills, lakes and forests before landing near Bwindi, home to nearly half the world's remaining mountain gorillas. Your driver-guide transfers you to your lodge among the misty hills, with the rest of the day to relax and prepare.
Day 3

First Gorilla Trekking Experience

After an early breakfast and a briefing at the park headquarters, you enter the ancient rainforest in search of a habituated gorilla family, led by experienced trackers through dense forest until you find them. You spend a magical hour observing their interactions and remarkable human-like characteristics before returning to your lodge for the rest of the day at leisure.
Day 4

Second Gorilla Trek and Transfer to Ishasha

After an early breakfast you set off on your second gorilla trek, a unique opportunity to visit a different family and deepen your appreciation of these extraordinary creatures. Following the trek you journey north to the renowned Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, arriving in time for an evening game drive and a sundowner as the golden light settles over the savannah.
Day 5

Full-Day Wildlife Safari in Ishasha

Spend the day exploring one of Uganda's most distinctive wildlife areas on morning and afternoon game drives, searching for the legendary tree-climbing lions that lounge in the giant fig trees. The sector also supports large numbers of elephant, buffalo, Uganda kob and topi, and the day closes with another spectacular sundowner in the bush.
Day 6

Bush Breakfast and Departure

Wake to the sounds of the wilderness and enjoy a memorable bush breakfast in the heart of the savannah, a fitting finale to your safari. You then transfer to the airstrip for your scheduled flight back to Entebbe and your onward connection, departing with unforgettable memories of mountain gorillas and iconic wildlife.
