6 Days Wildlife Meets Chimpanzee Safari

The 6 Days Wildlife Meets Chimpanzee Safari connects two of Uganda's great parks: Murchison Falls in the north and Kibale Forest in the west, anchored by shared conservation values. The safari opens at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a walking encounter with Uganda's only wild southern white rhinos, then moves into Murchison for game drives and a 3-hour Nile boat cruise to the thundering base of the falls. Hippos, crocodiles, and the rare shoebill stork line the banks throughout.

Kibale shifts the mood to rainforest: a chimpanzee trek through East Africa's primate capital, lunch at Tinka's Homestay where community-based conservation is the menu, and the Bigodi Wetland walk where the Great Blue Turaco and over 200 bird species reward the patient observer. Tea plantations and rolling hills fill the drive between parks.

For a version that swaps Murchison for Queen Elizabeth, the 6 Days Wildlife and Chimpanzee Safari covers similar ground with a boat safari on the Kazinga Channel. The 7 Days Primates and Wildlife Safari adds gorillas for a full primate sweep of Uganda.
